Today’s NPC Athlete Spotlight is Keri Forshey NPC Figure competitor.
My name is Keri Forshey. I am a first year npc figure competitor. I competed in 3 npc shows in 2013! My road to competing was a 4 year journey to fitness and health. I started in 2009 as a 220 lb over weight very low active person. I started training in nov of 2009 doing cross fit. I transitioned into a full weight training split body part routine in July of 2012. My decision to compete was made in nov of 2012! And it was game on. First show was the spring 2014 natural northern ohio show. I placed 11 th in masters 35-39 and 6 th in open figure. I took a short off season and next show was ohio state figure competition. I took top 5 on my second show! I placed 4 th in open figure. I finished my 2013 season with a 4 th place finish in open figure at natural northern ohio show! I am determined and working hard for next year! I love the npc circuit. They have motivated me to be better, stronger and healthier then ever! 2014 watch out!
