HURRICANE RELIEVED “I went to play football at the University of Miami as a quarterback, but I was too short so they had me on special teams. I hurt my shoulder early on they ended up pulling my scholarship. I was just devastated.  I didn’t touch a weight or football for one whole year. I finally decided to have surgery, and three months later I was in the gym again.”

I CAN DO THIS “When I started going to rehab, I wanted to get in shape to start doing some modeling, just to see if I could do it. I started going to the gym for that purpose. I always had the frame but didn’t diet. When I started learning about the nutrition part, everything kind of fell into place. I came across some photos of Mark Anthony, saw him posing and the whole thing and I thought ‘What the heck is this!’ that’s when I started looking more at Men’s Physique online and thought, ‘I could do this.’”

DISCIPLINE “If you’re not disciplined in your life, you’re not gonna accomplish anything You have to have your mind set to doing that one thing. If you’re not disciplined enough to do it, to put everything else aside and be a little bit selfish to work at that goal – you’re not going to complete it.”

WHY PHYSIQUE “I love bodybuilding and have a passion for the sport. Those guys, what they do, it’s amazing – but there are only very few in the world that can say they are elite bodybuilders. I knew I couldn’t do that, so I wanted to find something to fit in. I saw Men’s Physique as the perfect way to do that – not so much a fitness-type model, a little bigger than that. I’d love to get that exposure and be a part of the fitness world.”

BEAT THE BEST “My first goal is to shut Mark Anthony up and beat him! I met him we talk a lot of crap to each other. He’s great. Actually  my first goal is to get my pro card. If I can do it before the New York Pro, I want to go in there and beat him and then just sit down and laugh about it.”
