Bio sample: Please share a bit of your background and how you see it relating to your current success in fitness and modeling.
I am a Doctor of Chiropractic and have always been involved in athletics and interested in nutrition and fitness. I’m currently working on my Nutritional Diplomate and my medical doctorate.
Share with us a bit about your contest history and most memorable show experience. Â
My first show was in September of 2014 in Daytona Beach, Florida. I’ll probably always remember that show because it was my first show and the decision I made to compete in May of that year. That decision changed my outlook and purpose for training at the gym. I learned a lot about my body and how it responds to nutrition and different and dynamic exercises. For instance instead of doing heavy weights, I began doing band work and body weight exercises and BCX boot camp.
Is there something that motivates and or inspires you to workout, diet and compete in fitness that non-competitors might connect with? Which part do you have the most difficulty with?
Well the most difficult part that a non-competitor might connect with is the commitment because there are days when you just don’t want to work out; there are days when you want to go off of your diet; and you just have to stay focused on your goals knowing that it’s not going to happen overnight. You have to trust the process. The inspiration comes from knowing I am a role model for my family and teaching them good eating habits, how to be active such as participating in sports and outside activities. And of course this is for my longevity too so I can be around and able to play with my grandkids.
