Competitor’s Kitchen: Broiled Lime Avocado

This is a healthy fat heaven. Topped with Nutritional Yeast, it tastes like melted parmesan. I like to have this along with one of my regularly scheduled meals. It absolutely melts in your mouth!

 

INGREDIENTS
2 1/2 oz avocado
1 tbs lime juice
1/8 tsp minced garlic or powder
Dash sea salt
Dash Mrs. Dash Fiesta Lime Seasoning
1 tsp nutritional yeast
*Makes 1 serving

DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to broil. Slice and pit avocado. Scoop out 2 oz. of avocado and place on an oven-safe plate. Sprinkle with Mrs. Dash, sea salt, and garlic. Drizzle with lime juice and cover with nutritional yeast. Broil in oven for 3-5 minutes or until yeast starts to brown. Serve.
