We recently did a feature on 22-year old Collin Clarke from Evansville, Indiana who decided to compete in a National Physique Committee Bodybuilding contest despite the fact that he has Down Syndrome. In case you missed it, we included the links to Collin’s story below. Well, this inspiring man followed through with his dream and stepped on stage at the 2015 NPC Kentucky Muscle Championships. Collin placed 5th in his first novice (lightweight) bodybuilding contest and without a doubt received the most applause from the amazed crowd. Although he placed 5th, we and everyone else at that contest consider him a winner for what he did on this day. He left an impression that will not soon be forgotten.
NPC NEWS ONLINE would like to give our congratulations to Collin for reaching his goal of competing in a bodybuilding contest and we are honored that he chose the NPC to do it. But most of all we would like to thank him for inspiring us and showing that you can overcome obstacles with hard word and dedication. Also, congratulations to Collin’s trainer Glenn Ubelhor who helped get him ready for this event. Great job! We hope to see you on stage again. Thank you Collin you are Amazing! – Frank Sepe (NPC News Online Editor-In- Chief).
