On June 26, The Prez Jim Manion, J.M. & Tyler Manion traveled over to the Worthington, OH offices of Classic Productions, promoters of the Arnold Sports Festival, to meet with Jim Lorimer & his staff, which included his son Bob Lorimer & Media Relations Brent LaLonde. Also present with IFBB Professional League International Director & Olympia Weekend promoter Robin Chang. The discussion was about the future Arnold Sports Festival in Columbus, OH & the various international versions. One of the main topics was where the IFBB Arnold Classic, Men’s 212, Bikini, Figure & Fitness International’s would be held since Veteran’s Memorial Auditorium was being torn down. Upon arrival, Jim, J.M. & Tyler stopped in to the adjoining Metro Fitness to speak with trainer Mike Davies & 1995 Arnold Classic winner & now NPC promoter Mike Francois joined the discussion as well. Following the meeting the group made it’s way to the Hyatt Regency attached to the Greater Columbus Convention Center for a site inspection of the new contest venue. We can tell you it holds more people than ‘The Vets’. This move centralizes all the IFBB Professional League events with the expo & the connecting host Hilton Hotel. See you all there March 5-8, 2015. http://arnoldsportsfestival.com/
