The 2012 NPC Junior Nationals hit Chicago this weekend, where over 500 competitors will vie for the 23 IFBB Pro cards given out over the two-day event. Pro Cards will be awarded to all height class winners in Figure, Bikini, Fitness and Men’s and Women’s Physique.
There are 3 height classes for Fitness competitors, 6 height classes for Figure and Bikini competitors, 4 height classes for Men’s and Women’s Physique classes. In addition, there are seven weight classes for Men’s Bodybuilding and four weight classes for Women’s Bodybuilding.
Below, we break down each division and highlight a few competitors who could leave Chicago with IFBB Pro cards. Check back later tonight for check-in photos to kick off the weekend!

FITNESS
Bebette Mulford (Class A) – Recently finished 2nd in Class A at the NPC Jr. USAs. Has placed in the top five of her class at Junior Nationals four times since 2007, including a runner-up finish last year.
Amanda Hatfield (Class A) – Finished 4th in her class at the Jr. USAs and won her class at the North Americans in 2011.
Dara Tissenbaum (Class B) – Won her class at the Pittsburgh Pro in May.
Lishia Dean (Class B) – Recently finished 2nd in her class at the Jr. USAs. Placed 5th at Fitness Nationals and 2nd at Jr. USAs in 2011.
BIKINI
CLASS A
Noy Alexander – Finished 4th in her class here last year, Alexander also placed in the top five of her class at the 2011 Nationals (2nd) and USAs (5th).
Lacey Deluca – Third in her class at the Junior USAs, DeLuca also has won three Overall titles – the Steve Stone NY Metropolitans, Pittsburgh Championships and the Eastern Seabord Championships – so far this year
CLASS B
Vida Guerra – Top five at two major national-level contests in 2011 (4th at Nationals, 3rd at USAs), but moving in the wrong direction after falling to 9th at Jr. USAs this year.
Diana Whitt – 3rd in her class at the Jr. USAs.
Krystin Niespolo– After falling out of the top five at Junior USAs (6th), needs to get back to the form she showed when winningher class at the 2011 North Americans and placed 2nd in her class at Nationals
CLASS C
Katherine Portillo – Finished 2nd in her class at Jr. USAs.
Mishon Shore – Has fallen back this year, but with two top-five national-level finishes in 2011 (2nd at Nationals, 3rd at North Americans), is one to watch
Jessica Lee Andrade – 3rd in her class at Jr. USAs, 4th at last year’s Team Universe
CLASS D
Ashley Kaltwasser – won her class at this year’s Arnold Amatuer.
Lisa Perry – Placed 3rd in her class at the Junior USAs.
Jennifer Elliott – Won her class at the Jr. USAs but did not earn a pro card.
CLASS E
Aimee A. Roa – Placed 3rd at Jr. USAs and 2nd at the 2011 Nationals.
Janelle Saitone-McGuire – Won her class at Jr. USAs but did not win pro card.
Whitney Wiser – Won here class here and at the Jr. USAs in 2011, but hasn’t fared as well in recent outings.
CLASS F
Brittney Layne – Placed 3rd at the Junior USAs in 2012 and 2011.
Adrienne Crenshaw – Three class wins so far this year, and a runner-up finish at the Junior USAs.

CLASS A
Jessica Thompson – Won her class at the Jr. USAs, her second class win this year. Also won her class at the Europa Show of Champions.
Jacqueline Thomas – Won her class at the Arnold Amateur this year and placed 5th at the USAs last year.
Magela Cambronero – Placed 3rd in her class at the Jr. USAs.
Angela Coleman – Fared well her last two times competing in pro qualifiers, placing 2nd in her class at Jr. USAs and at last year’s North Americans.
CLASS B
Sarah Venturini – Class runner-up at the Jr. USAs.
Cinderella Richardson – Placed 3rd at Jr. USAs and 6th at last year’s Nationals.
CLASS C
Miranda Tamez-Dickenson – Two top five national level finishes in the last year (4th at Jr. USAs this year, 3rd at 2011 Nationals)
CLASS D
Mallory Haldeman – Three top-five finishes over the last year at pro qualifying events, including a 3rd at the Jr. USAs.
Marci Colliau – 4th at Jr. USAs.
CLASS E
Tara Lynn Zito – Experienced a lot of success on the national-level in 2008, placing in the top five of three national-level contests – including a runner-up finish at the Nationals. Recently placed 6th at the Jr. USAs in her only contest of the year.
Angela Masino – Two wins so far this year in very competitive lineups at the Emerald Cup and the Atlantic States.
CLASS F
Michelle Beck – Two top-five finishes a year ago, a 4th at the USAs and 3rd at Team Universe.
Dawn Hinz-Pugh – Runner-up at the Jr. USAs.
Amy Puglise – The runner-up in this class at last year’s Nationals placed 5th at the Jr. USAs.
WOMEN’S PHYSIQUE
Lauren Lessnau (Class A) – The 21-year old, a former NPC Athlete of the Month, placed a respectable 4th at the Jr. USAs in her national-level debut.
Heather Henslee (Class B)– Placed 3rd in her class at Jr. USAs and 4th at last year’s North Americans.
Jill Dearmin (Class C) – Finished 5th at Jr. USAs and 4th at last year’s Nationals.
MEN’S PHYSIQUE
Sheridan Hause Jr (Class A) – Placed 3rd in his class at Jr. USAs and at the 2011 North Americans.
Tyler Anderson (Class A) – 4th in his class at Jr. USAs.
Ken C. Rawlins (Class B) – Finished 3rd in his class at Jr. USAs.
Sadik Hadzovic (Class B) – 2nd in his class at Jr. USAs, won the Overall at the Steve Stone NY Metropolitans.
