NPC MEDIA POLICY

SUBJECT:NPC National Media Policy

This is an update on an existing NPC National Media Policy. The NPC has an ongoing home video contract concerning selective NPC National events including Teen Collegiate Masters Nationals, Junior Nationals, USA Championships and the Men’s and Women’s Nationals.

Our contract bans:

  • any videotaping of the event stage, backstage area of the show or NPC contestants
  • any footage offered for subsequent sale or put up on the internet free of charge on a media related site
  • the restriction also includes the entire entity of the venue and all it’s parts where the NPC National event is held

These exposures to the NPC Home Video contract are negatively impacting the financial arrangements for the promoters of the contests listed above and will be strictly enforced.
