Please share something of your background and how it relates to your current interest in fitness and modeling.
Growing up I was never athletic and hated playing sports. I was the girl in gym class that always came up with an excuse not to play kickball! I was very interested in music, art, and fashion and this definitely helped me with competing and modeling. I went to a performing arts high school for drama and vocal and college for music and arts administration. I also attended a musical theatre camp and was part of the fashion club. I was always on stage singing and acting and this helped me become comfortable and confident on stage when competing.
Share with us a bit about your contest history and most memorable show experience.
I started training in January 2013 and have done 7 shows since, placing top 5 in six of them, and qualifying for Nationals three times.  Before Nationals, my most memorable moment would’ve been taking Overall in my second show. But now that I have competed at Nationals, my most memorable moment would be placing top 5 in the biggest national show of the year. If you told me in January 2013 that I would be competing at Nationals and placing, I would’ve laughed at you and called you crazy! These past 2 years have been absolutely amazing and I’ve accomplished more than I could ever imagine!
What motivates and or inspires you to workout, diet and compete in fitness? Which part do you have the most difficulty with?
My friends, family, and followers motivate me the most. I love inspiring people to live a fit and healthy lifestyle. I’ve become very passionate about training, eating clean and competing and share a lot of this information on social media. When I decided to start competing, it was because of the pictures I saw online of girls on stage in the IFBB. If these pictures were able to change my life then hopefully I can have the same effect on other girls who want to change their lives.

The part that I have difficulty with is the length of time between shows. I wish I could compete every weekend!!!
