2. About Me
I have always been very competitive in sports. I played soccer throughout high school and even played a little Rugby in college. Unfortunately, college got the best of me and I ended up gaining about 20 lbs. I needed to do something that would MAKE me change my habits which is when I decided to compete. I was already familiar with weight training but the dieting and getting up on stage was all brand new to me. I would love to inspire other girls and women of all ages, shapes and sizes; it CAN be done. With hard work and perseverance, anything can be achieved.
3. Role Models:
My role models will always be my Parents. They have taught and given me everything I have needed, morally and intellectually, to become person I am today. Yeshaira Robels has been my inspiration. Hardworking, hispanic, goal driven, beautiful AND humble!!
4. Motivation:
My progress, big or small, is what keeps me motivated.
5. Misc:
Biggest obstacle for me was taking in the dieting aspect of the sport. It was definitely hard on my family as well to see me so “thin” because culturally, it’s not the norm. Fortunately, they have seen the positive outcomes of living a healthy lifestyle and have welcomed it themselves!
